Our Story
The Behold Project began unexpectedly.
After holding her infant grandson, Amber O’Brien wrote a poem for her book, Love. Always. Wins., imagining Mary, the mother of Jesus, holding her newborn Son for the very first time. To Amber’s complete surprise, a melody came to her for the poem, which became the song, “All Will Be Made Right.”
Amber searched for a musician who could help bring All Will Be Made Right to life and was led to Todd Harrison Twining.
Todd’s deep biblical knowledge, background in Jewish Studies, and his many gifts as a musician and songwriter blended beautifully with Amber’s growing appreciation for the Holy Family, her love of Scripture and poetry, and her evangelical heart. The two soon began writing together, discovering a shared vision to bring the greatest Story ever told to new generations through unique lyrics, original melodies, and fresh, contemporary voices.
As the vision continued to grow, Amber and Todd began searching for the right producer and found the accomplished Sal Oliveri.
Sal became an integral part of the creative team, guiding the project with patience and expertise while also contributing as a songwriter and collaborator. Through his leadership, gifted Christian vocalists and musicians were brought together, and song by song, layer by layer, the vision began to come to life.
The creative Trio first turned their attention to the beginnings of the holy family with a Christmas album entitled BeholdtheGift. Through seven songs, the album follows the love story of Mary and Joseph, the birth of Jesus, the flight into Egypt, and His dedication in Jerusalem.
The second album, BEHOLDtheGiver project planned for release in the spring of 2027, continues the story as Jesus grows up in Nazareth under the loving guidance of Mary and Joseph. We will listen to Joseph teaching Jesus the carpenter’s trade, Mary and Joseph searching anxiously for their twelve-year-old son, and Jesus beginning his public ministry at the wedding of Cana. From there, the music carries us toward the Last Supper, Gethsemane, the Cross—and ultimately, the joy and hope of the Resurrection.
And the story is still being written.
We hope you will join us on this journey.
